Low density
Fine & thin hair
Needs volume, heavy kills it
The problem
Fine hair needs volume, and anything heavy or shiny glues it to the scalp so it looks like there’s even less of it.
What works
Clay wax. It’s the one format built for exactly this: firm hold with a matte finish, so you get volume without the shine and without the weight. A pea, warmed in your palms, through dry hair, mid-length out. Nothing at the roots.
What to avoid
Pomade and shea butter are both too heavy here and will flatten it. So will wet hair: water plus product is what glues it to your scalp.
One honest note
The clay wax is made but it isn’t on the shop yet, so the jar above is the closest we sell rather than the one built for you.
